Food from trees?
Wow, are you in for it this time. The picture above is a pine tree's pine cone, and needles. Not the tree you think of when you think of food right? Well think again. The needles of the pine tree are high in vitamin c and can be made into a nutritious tea. The bark can also be eaten, how tasty this is I'm not sure yet, will amend this page when I do. Not last or least is the pollen, which can be made into a tincture to help with male testosterone issues. (please do your own research before jumping on this) David Harrod Buhner has a great book with exhaustive details on this subject.
